Every chair and sofa in the workshop, and when each will be ready
Each piece is booked in with its type, the fabric chosen, whether the customer supplied it, and its dimensions. The price list starts with dining chair seats, armchairs and three-seat sofas, new foam, spring and frame repairs, and collection and delivery.
30 days free. No card needed.

What it fixes
Still waiting for the fabric
Mark a job as waiting for fabric when an order's late, and see which pieces are held up before the customer rings to ask.
Whose fabric is this?
Note the fabric chosen and whether the customer brought their own on each piece, so the right roll goes on the right chair.
Weeks, not days
A sofa can be in for six weeks. Customers open their status link to see it's in the workshop, and get an email when it's ready to collect.
Getting paid
Paid online, and already in Xero
Paid from their phone
Customers pay your invoice by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Pay by Bank, with no account to make. Stripe pays it into your bank, usually within 2–3 working days.
Stripe's fee, nothing more
1.5% + 20p for UK cards and 0.5% + 20p (capped at £5) for Pay by Bank. Workbench doesn't add anything on top.
Straight into Xero
Connect Xero once. Every invoice you send goes across with its customer, payments follow it, and payments you match in Xero come back, so overdue reminders stay right.
